About Me
Hello, I'm Diana Aguirre a professional accountant currently residing in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, and originally from Colombia. I'm a humble and compassionate individual who enjoys guiding others and helping them grow, often putting their needs before mine. I may be a bit shy when initiating interactions, but I can quickly become quite humorous.
I have a passion for expanding my geographical knowledge and relish in the cultural diversity that the world has to offer. I am happily married and cherish my strong relationship. While I don't have children, I highly value my life as a couple and the opportunity to explore new horizons together. Throughout this exciting journey of life, I have been fortunate to meet wonderful people and experience various cultures and places.
I have a deep appreciation for architecture, which I enjoy exploring in every destination I visit. Additionally, I find great joy in strolling along the beach, swimming in the sea, and though I'm not an expert, I can't resist moving to the rhythm of music and enjoying dance in all its forms.
As part of my commitment to the community and helping others, I'm always willing to participate in charitable projects and solidarity activities. I believe that contributing to improving the lives of those around us is a fundamental part of our existence.
Stop saying I wish, start saying I will.
The prettiest thing you can wear is a smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am not dating.
I'm on Couchsurfing because I strongly believe in the idea that the world is a much more welcoming and friendly place than what is sometimes portrayed in the media. This platform provides me with the opportunity to connect with people from different parts of the world, share experiences, and forge genuine bonds of friendship and mutual understanding.
My main goal in using Couchsurfing is not only to find a place to stay during my travels but also to meet local people, immerse myself in their cultures, and learn from their perspectives. I believe the best way to understand a place is through the stories and experiences of the people who call it home.
Furthermore, as someone who values hospitality and kindness, I love the idea of being able to reciprocate the hospitality I have received during my travels. Offering my home to fellow travelers is a way to contribute to the Couchsurfing community and help others enjoy authentic experiences in my own roots and in my current place of residence.
In summary, I am on Couchsurfing because I believe that cultural exchange and friendship among people from different backgrounds are one of the most enriching ways to travel and live life. I am excited about the connections and adventures that this community will bring me in the future.
