I'm Lukas from a small village in Upper Austria. Most of my friends call me Haimi (short form of my lastname).
I just finished a higher technical school (IT) in July 2015 and right now I'm serving my Civil Service at the Austrian Red Cross.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to see the world, so I'm planning to travel a lot in the next few years.
To be more specific, I'm going to travel Western Europe with a good friend of mine in March 2016, and he came up with the idea of Couchsurfing. I instantly liked the idea of meeting new people, which can tell you everything about the visited place.

Interests

I really enjoy meeting up with friends. I also spend lots of my free time for voluntary work, like for example, in the local fire brigade or as an paramedic in the Austrian Red Cross.
