Hello! First I'd like to start off by saying my real name is Paulina (Dahlia is just a nickname that I have on my Facebook account and I'm not sure how to change it on here) I'm a vegetarian and a crazy cat lady! (even though I unfortunately don't have any since I travel too much) i hope to see as many places and learn about as many cultures as I can while it's still possible. I was born in Manitoba (Canada) but have lived in Australia and am planning on going to New Zealand next on a working holiday - I also have polish roots so I'm working on obtaining my polish passport which is quite exciting!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love couchsurfing because I've had some amazing experiences (even though I'm still fairly new) that I wouldn't have had if I was just staying at hostels and hotels and have also met the most fantastic people! It's truly an amazing way to experience new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love and appreciate all different kinds of music - I was a big metal and punk fan when I was younger but these days listen to a lot of hiphop. As for movies I would probably say I prefer comedies and horrors, something simple but entertaining, and I read all kinds of books!
