About Me

I`m a very open minded person and fun to hang around (at least that`s what people say ;) )
Usually I seem a bit quiet at the first meeting but if I meet someone I connect to I open up very fast
and I love to have long conversations about interesting topics and experiences, I`m not the type of person for smalltalk. I love to got to burning man events.

I hope it doesn`t confuse you that I dont have a real -life picture of me in my profile and no verification from couchsurfing. I just refuse to give my data away to couchsurfing since it got so commercial and has the right to sell the data.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel for short and sometimes longer trips and think it`s way nicer to just crash on a couch and meet a cool new person than to pay for a shitty air bnb. Of course, if I crashed at a cool person`s couch this person can crash at my place if she/he comes to vienna :)
I prefer to host women and prefer people that need a place for 1 - 2 nights.

Interests

As a biologist I`m especially interested in bats and bat biology and everything thats related to that
(zoos,wild animal shelters, conferences, talks...)
I also like to draw and paint and I`m always eager to develope my skills and learn new techniques! I love to go to museums and gallerys and check out art.
I`m not that much into sports, but I like to hoop dance! I`d love to meet other hoopers to hoop together and have a good time!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Can`t name them all, I`m a bookworm. But I really love Stephen King for example.
Music: Umbra et Imago, Nightwish, Type O negative, Sisters of mercy, St. Michael Front,..there is just toooo much good music.
Movies: Pretty similar. Too many good movies :) But I would say, I like serious, sad movies that make you think (and feel bad),and on the other hand absurd and weird fun movies (like the Cornetto trilogy). I love a lot of the classical 90ties movies (Jurassic Park, Independence Day). Oh, and of course, Gremlins :) In Brueges.
Ah, I forgot Lord of the Rings. But hey, this should`nt have to be mentioned :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept at the entry to a cave full with bats.

Teach, Learn, Share

Lets hoop dance together! Or make some art. Help me get better at Japanese. Or lets do a occult mass if we feel like it ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

The couch :) Time, if I have. Knowledge of going out - places in the city and places to visit. Compagnionship (if I have time and really like you).

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Croatia, England, Ireland, Italy
