ABOUT ME

Ummmm, this is always the tricky part...
Well, I am working as a university assistant (PhD-student) at the Vienna University of Technology but over the summer I've got a scholarship for working at the Czech University of Technology in Prague.
Ok, and now the fun parts! :)
I love making music and have been playing the guitar now for quite a while, also in concerts which is a lot of fun! Together with a friend I organize a small festival each year, the Vienna Fingerstyle Festival, where we already had really great guitar players performing for us on stage! I like board games and inventing them, so I am somewhat a game author and already some of my games are sold in stores.
Travelling is an important point in my life and luckily my job brings good travelling opportunities by going to conferences all around the world! :)

PHILOSOPHY

People always tend to say things like "Live each day as it would be your last!" That sounds indeed nice but I suppose nearly none of us can follow that maxim with 100%. But anyway, I guess as long as we find a good trade-off between this saying and a common sense for life, we might be on a good way! ;)
