i am sometimes thinking and re-thinking about what it means to really be amazed. maybe i think seeing something amazing is seeing something way way beyond the scope of my previous experience and consequently beyond the scope of my imagination. or maybe it is not about those things at all. anyway, i am not sure i am amazed often, but i find many simple things can fill me with joy and perhaps some element of surprise , although it seems that often it is more about my state of mind than the phenomenon itself.
