HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

currently, im just trying to find a place to crash as i am traveling.

when home, i have roommates so it makes it slightly hairy to have people over but i am more than willing to show people my home los angeles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

it has been quite interesting so far. no experiences in vivo but many people seem very nice...

Interests

snowboarding - it's how i met some of my closest friends
hacky sack - something i've done in EVERY country i've been to
texas holdem - fun to play and i play to win cause i "know when to holdem, know when to foldem, know when to walk away, know when to run ;)"
cooking - i love being able to cook a nice meal for the people i love in my life because food is one thing that can bring people together!
beach volleyball - i love the beach and i have a passion for volleyball, so this is a great sport for me
dancing - something i have been passionate about since my raving days!
loving - ;)
scratching - sometimes when you just have an itch, you scratch it, and it's almost too heavenly to describe
beach - i really am a nudist at heart and when i get to be more naked than not, it's a good thing...well, maybe not for other people :P
karaoke - im asian, it's really in my DNA
napping - nothing like a power nap to get you through a hard days work or a ridiculous night(s) of partying
guitar hero/rock banding - sadly, my only musical skill
movies - yup! i like big screens and things that go boom on it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've experienced the richest and poorest south africa has to offer, staying in multi-million dollar villas to visiting the poorest townships. the disparity between the rich and the poor is astonishing but no matter how destitute, i saw love that helped keep people strong!

i went great white shark cage diving and almost fell in the water :/

visited a prison/torture camp in phnom penh, cambodia and had a visceral reaction to the inhumane acts that transpired there!

roaming around florence, italy and could not find accommodations for the life of me. then, running into some students from the states who guided me to the church outside of the duomo so i could experience music (i.e., string quartet and wind ensemble) in one of the most beautiful cities in a beautiful church!

nothing beats connecting with people from all walks of life, and all the places i visited would mean very little without the greatness of the people who befriended me, magnifying the experience in various parts of the world by leaps, bounds and beyond! cheese, i know ;)
