CURRENT MISSION

My goal is to connect with people, learn about the world, learn spanish, make people laugh, juggle, teach, do acrobatics, play music, love, soak up some sun.

ABOUT ME

My favorite thing to do in the entire world is sit around and talk to people. Sharing stories, finding threads between seemingly different experiences, drinking some wine. I LOVE juggling, dance parties, beaches, wandering, scones, baking them, singing, fermentation, drumming, gardening, the pursuit of a sustainable lifestyle, and exchanging creative ideas most of all.

PHILOSOPHY

Oh my this is a doozy to of a topic to answer. My actions are shaped by the philosophy that symbiosis exists. I've been seeking situations where who I naturally am serves the people around me. And often in those same places is where people have the very thing I was needing. It is possible to live in a place and not only have your effect on it be positive, but to have its effect on you positive as well. I am looking for places where this symbiosis exists and fosters the traits in me that I want to develop such as empathy, contribution, organization, creativity, bringing creative ideas to fruition! We are creating the future right now, and I find there are so many amazing ideas that need the support to be brought into reality. I'm working on being that support.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been cultivating skills to offer as a house guest. My more relevant ones are doing the dishes (no mountain is too intimidating), giving acro-balance lessons, non-snoring, stories galore, and bringing and cooking food for hosts, haircuts, facepainting, and juggling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in Greece and California and around Seattle, but I'm generally pretty new to this rad exchange!

Interests

The exchange of creative ideas! Teaching and practicing acro-balance, dancing (not very well), cooking (pretty well depending on the dish), studying community living, sustainable living, alternative to toilets, banjo playing, accoridion playing, bikes, bike riding, fast bike riding, hikes, herbalism, human connection, doing dishes, making lists of my interests.

I am interested in the phenomena where people have exactly what each other need! I experience this all the time and I'd like to be able to pin down what it is that allows bountiful goodness to exist.
