Hi there! My name is Daira, I am 22 years old. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I love learning different languagges, getting to know other places, meeting people , chatting and so. At present I live with my family and I work in a tourism company.
I consider myself an outgoing person as I can have a conversation from kids to elder people.
One of my dreams is to travel all around the world learning about each place´s esence, traditions, people and photograph spontaneous and unforgettable little moments; I think those moments are what make life beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m on Couchsurfing because it´s a good way to get in contact with people from other places all around the world and I find doing couchsurfing very interesting because of the opportunity to live with someone who is native from the place I´d visit and also I think is the best way to get used to its daily routine. I would really enjoy becoming another inhabitant from each place and trying to handle by myself everywhere I go.

Interests

As I said before, I am interested in travelling all around the world, learning more languagges, meeting people because I think every person is a different world, also learning about each place´s history (I love learning history and the causes that made our and each place´s present) , getting to know places that are not very famous, be in contact with each country´s traditiones, rules and culture.
I am also a fan of places whose nature hasn´t been modified or places where nature plays the main role.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love arts! I play the piano actually and I really enjoy listening to any kind of music. Some of my favourites singer are Norah Jones, Passenger ,Jack Johnson, Fito Paez, Fabiana Cantilo (argentinians). Some of my favourites bands are ACDC, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Soda Stereo, Serú Girán, etc. I also really enjoy listening to music that is traditional from Argentina.
I love watching movies and serials, one of my favourites movies is The Pianist with Adrien Brody and my favourite serial ever is "Friends".
I like reading about everything because I like learning about everything , I mostly read historical novels written by Isabel Allende and all that kind of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I´ve done is having decided to start travelling by myself when I was 20. My first trip was at that age and I travelled to Patagonia, that means the southern part of Argentina, it was really an amazing and unforgettable experience and I would do it again and again.

Teach, Learn, Share

At present, I am teaching english to adults and I enjoy doing it, that´s why I am open to do it everywhere I go, also I could teach spanish as it is my first languagge.
I am open also to share argentinian traditions, food, music, movies, our expressions. I am also a good learner as I like asking about everything.
