About Me

Hi, I’m Daisy! I’m passionate about traveling and discovering new flavors around the world. I love trying different cuisines and exploring unique places. Meeting new people and making friends along the way is one of my favorite parts of the journey. Looking forward to connecting with more like-minded adventurers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m a passionate backpacker, driven by the desire to meet new people and make friends from all walks of life. Traveling with just a backpack allows me to experience the world in an authentic way, connecting with others and sharing stories along the journey. It’s the friendships I build and the memories we create together that make my adventures truly meaningful.

Interests

I have a deep passion for outdoor activities like skiing and hiking, which allow me to connect with nature and stay active. Besides enjoying the great outdoors, I also love cooking and creating delicious meals. I play several musical instruments, including the ukulele, guitar, piano, and guqin, each offering me a unique way to express myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to work in the music copyright trading business, where I gained a deep appreciation for the creative industry. I’m particularly fond of hip-hop, a genre that resonates with me both musically and culturally. My experience in the music world has given me a unique perspective on the power of art and expression.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most meaningful, amazing things I’ve done is volunteering on Be My Eyes, an app that connects visually impaired individuals with sighted volunteers from around the world. Through the app, I’m able to provide assistance whenever they need a bit of guidance in their daily lives—whether it’s locating a specific button on a remote, checking a flight status, or confirming if medication is still safe to use. Each time I receive a heartfelt “thank you” from someone I’ve helped, it feels incredibly rewarding. The connection we create, even just through a brief interaction, reminds me of the power of small acts of kindness.

wandering across the earth in sacred darkness.
