About Me

I'm a social and curious tea-addicted Belgian, who spends a lot of time on traveling and hanging with friends :-)

I'm born and raised in Antwerp but my love abroad is presented in my life as I live in the Netherlands.

I graduated Environmental Sciences in 2018 and have been working in greening and innovation since then. Having CS experiences during my big trip through Canada and US, I want to continue this story. The first pages have been written during the summer of 2017, since then it’s only growing with more CS experiences.

Since COVID I took a pause but hosting and surfing are on my to do-list, it’ll be so much fun to meet up with new people again.

I love talking about anything and am so curious in other people’s lifestories. We can cook together, have a drink and just relax or just do our own thing. Wathever we feel like :)

Do not contact please if you are specifically looking for a sexual experience or related. I respect all people but prefer to host/surf in a like-minded setting.

What I do appreciate are thoughtful and personal messages, in the end it's still a community feeling and not just a 'free accomodation platform'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only does my love for nature and adventure reflect in my education, I also love to explore new people and new things. That's why I like
to meet up with people, and made an account on Couchsurfing.com.

I won't deny that I'm also valuing for low cost accomodation, it’s a wonderful benefit you gain from this platform. And all travelers will recognize you can do a lot more fun things if you save costs on accomodation. Including being generous for your hosts ;-)! Returning the favour is where it all starts.

But the most important reason for me to try out Couchsurfing is to get the real local knowledge of all these wonderful new places I would like to visit. Getting a dive into culture is only properly done when you connect with the locals. This knowledge is priceless in my opinion :) Therefore, I love to share my own culture with people during the time I'm surfing or hosting. In the end, that's what's life about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scubadiving in the Maldives! As frightened as I was at the beginning, it was even more beautiful. Watching how life underneath the surface takes place is one of the most beautiful memories I've created so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Tutoring! Mainly chemistry and also fysics and mathemathics.

Learn: I would love to learn piano again, it’s a bit rusty at the moment. All you great musicians out there may sure help me!

Share: My open minded and loving spirit

What I Can Share with Hosts

Talking about everything, cooking skills, passion for photography, environmental know hows, nature, and since a few months I can also talk about beekeeping... Keeping it interested, right? ;-)
