About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Readjusting to normal life after the adventure of a lifetime.
ABOUT ME
Hello everyone,I quit my job to go travelling, a decision I have never regretted for a moment. Summarising your personality in a paragraph is never easy but from all accounts I'm pretty easy to get along with. I love festivals, making bad (often offensive) jokes, behaving like an idiot, pretending I'm an intellectual in galleries, making things and pretty much anything involving food.
PHILOSOPHY
I definitely value experiences over things. Quit your job and be a hippy (at least for a little while).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I am not in a position to host right now as I am living in a shared house with lots of other people, however I can offer advice or meet for a drink, chat or we can explore the city together.
I am new to London so often feel like a tourist as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far my experience with couch surfing has been 100% positive, its an amazing way to meet like minded people.
Interests
I love travelling and all the clichés that go with it (meeting people, culture, adventure, language, time to do whatever I like etc.). I'm a creative person and I love making stuff from cakes to clothes. I am very into contemporary art (although it has been way to long since I made my own). I also really like writing, old stuff and a good party.

Music, Movies, and Books
Quite into electronic music - I mostly just listen to new mixes on soundcloud at the moment. I actually hate writing the music I like because it always seems so broad and I can never remember the names(anyone who finds this question easy doesn't listen to enough music!).
Favourite books are Bliss by Peter Carey and "We need to talk about Kevin" by Lionel Shriver (don't let the film put you off the book!)I also love "M'as tu vue" Sophie Calle's stunning art book - I spend hours looking at it. I love films by Tarantino, the Coen brothers (and anything with a similar vibe), Latin cinema and a good British comedy.
If we are talking TV then Trailer Park Boys and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are my all time favorites along with Breaking Bad, The Wire and recently Game of Thrones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Theres so much I could list but the top three are...
Sailing from Panama to Colombia.
Hitch-hiking from Portsmouth to Morocco.
Walking a Puma in the Bolivian Jungle.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make a pretty banging banana cake.
With languages I could help with basic Spanish or English.
I like making stuff.
