Overview
About Me
I've got a pretty sarcastic sense of humor, I love spontaneity, I'm super easy to get along with and I love to cook. I'm really into old jazz, ragtime, soul/blues, and classical, and my idea of a good mellow time is putting on some good music and cooking a good meal, maybe watching an old movie or some good TV or something. Anything goes though with me, really. I love ballet, comedy and film history, so if you're into any of those things we'll definitely get along well! My life goal is to study film and television here in CA and move out to NY after I get my degree.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to meet awesome people that share similar interests and hopefully make a few friends! My life's dream is to work in television in New York, so it would be super rad to meet people involved in the industry who can teach me more about it. I want to explore as many interesting and historical neighborhoods in NY as I can, but quality is definitely more important than quantity, so if you have any significant areas of interest you'd like to take me to or direct me towards that would be awesome!
Interests
I'm trying to do some writing lately but planning this trip has been a little distracting, so I guess maybe writing doesn't count. I studied ballet off and on for several years (as an adult, so I'm not like, GOOD or anything, but I do love it) and I'm planning on seeing Misty Copeland perform Daphnis et Chloe during my visit. I like a lot of underground comics, I'm a big fan of R. Crumb and Daniel Clowes among others.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can try to teach you some basic ballet or tap dance, and I'd love to learn better French or more cooking skills. Or maybe I don't know what I want to learn yet, but I'll take whatever you've got!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make a pretty mean meatloaf, and I'm a great audience.
