ABOUT ME

I've traveled a bit and lived in Eastern Europe for a couple of years with the Peace Corps. I recently moved to the Washington, DC area. I love to bake, study economics and Russian, exploring my new neighborhood, and reading about international development. During the day I write curricula for cross-cultural training materials. You know those books that tell you the best ways to communicate with someone from X country? I write those, but not for the public; they're for corporations.

My goal for the next few years is to travel more (I think almost everyone says this, but it is almost always true), study more, work hard, find peace within myself, and make the best eclairs on the planet.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness comes from acting with the knowledge that you don't have much time, so you have to live with fullness, attention, and impeccability.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from around the world, see amazing things, learn new languages, and swap amazing stories. I'm not sure I can do all of these on Counchsurfing, but I can give it a try!
