About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel everywhere, cover a room in doodles, have a paint fight, be a level 4 ski instructor
ABOUT ME
It feels strange to write about myself... I feel obliged to say that I definitely don't fit into the British steteotype; although I am polite and good at queuing, I do not turn into a rowdy monster when I drink. I am far more interested in culture, nature, music and food. These are the things I look for when travelling or at home.
I am due to study Art and Design in Leeds in September and have been travelling around as much as time and money will permit. So far I have trained as a trapeze artist in London and then a ski instructor in the French alps; travelled alone but never truly alone in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam; tried to live like a local in Amsterdam for 2 weeks!
In terms of my personality I am easy going and smiley, able to laugh at myself, creative and curious about most things.
As a houseguest, I treat people's homes how I would expect people to treat mine, which means I clean up after myself!
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the little things in life and do what makes you happy!
Simple but it has worked for me so far...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing at the momemt but I will definitely be hosting when I get my own place. I am more than happy to show people around London in the meantime or give any advice.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed a few times now and have loved it! It is the best way to see a place and meet lovely people who live in said place.
The way I like to surf is to get to know my host and eat meals together. I would never treat anyone's home like a hotel - thats not why I couchsurf!
Interests
Art, music, mountains, science, baking and beer. Also enjoy static trapeze, rock climbing and walking/cycling around to find a good view.
I also take a lot of pictures of things, If anyone is interested: https://www.flickr.com/photos/109-524-9756/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trained to be a ski instructor. It was unlike anything I had ever done and challenging in ways I wouldn't have expected. Also just the experience of living in the mountains was one I would love to repeat.
Travelling around Vietnam. The landscapes are so varied and beautifully green!
Saw my first circus show - cirque du soleil to be precise - it is pretty amazing what the human body is capable of. Aside from this the set design, costumes, lighting, acting - everything is incredible!
Saw the Rolling Stones live. My first ever concert - it was pretty amazing and probably sparked my love of music forever
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I could teach skiing but probably not while couchsurfing haha.
I really enjoy cooking and baking, so sharing recipes and learning new dishes is something I love to do.
BUT music is the thing I love the most; to discover, to share, to listen, to play. I would go crazy wihout it!
