About Me

I consider myself an outgoing, friendly and fun person. Although at first I might appear shy and timid, this is just my first phase while trying to get to know others. But once I decide to let them into my world, people see the real me.
I always strive to keep a positive attitude to everything I do. There's a quote that I like: "Dreams don't work unless you do".
I love on-the-spot decisions because usually they lead to the best adventures you have in your life. Though have to admit it gets harder to remain spontaneous once you grow old but I try my best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To my mind, couchsurfing represents the real cultural experience that you can get while traveling. It's a great way not only to find new friends, but also to discover the places that sometimes only the locals know, and to see cities or even countries from completely different perspective.

Interests

I love dancing, doing sports (especially, boxing) and being outdoors, just staying active.

MOVIES:
Titanic - no Christmas Eve without it!
All movies with Al Pacino, he's an amazing actor and personality.
I also very much enjoy watching movies with Leonardo DiCaprio - he always chooses very strong, exceptional characters to play.
Friends - my all-time favorite TV show!

MUSIC:
A little bit of everything.

BOOKS:
Classics: The Godfather by Mario Puzo, Crime and Punishment by Fiodor Dostoyevsky, In the Shadow of the Altars by Vincas Mykolaitis-Putinas.
Recent favorite: It Is Going To Hurt by Adam Kay

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a spontaneous decision to buy a one-way ticket to Malta. I came there having nothing: no accomodation, no job and no idea what I was doing.
Thanks to a couchsurfer, who hosted me for the first days and helped me out a lot, summer 2014 was by far the best.

Teach, Learn, Share

No matter to which country I go, I always try to learn the longest word of that language, I find it more amusing than learning regular expressions.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Lithuania, Malta, Spain
