O mnie

CURRENT MISSION

Survive travelling solo through North America!

ABOUT ME

I am a young and open-minded student from Sydney wanting to explore every nook and cranny of our amazing world. I love dystopian and post-apocolyptic fiction, Scrubs (and all things Scrubs), street food, architecture, travelling on trains, Macs, taking abstract photos, board games, Coke Zero, mandarins and nights in with a comedy and pizza. I also love the odd debate/arguments (about anything) and can be heard bitching about people I dislike with close friends (I hold the theory that 'my friend's enemy is my enemy' very close to heart).

PHILOSOPHY

Appreciate the little things in life. What unites us makes us stronger.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Any dystopian and post-apocolyptic fiction. I especially loved Thomas More's "Utopia" and George Orwell's "Nineteen Eight-four". I also grew up with the Harry Potter series - my most favourite read being the Philosopher's Stone and the Deathly Hallows. Recently finished the Millennium Trilogy - did anyone else think that the first 50 pages of the first book was boring as hell? Other books I enjoyed include "To Kill A Mockingbird," "The Great Gatsby" and Australian Lian Hearn's trilogy, "Tales of the Otori."

As for nonfiction, I soak up anything related to the holocaust and economics. I would recommend all of the nonfiction work by Elie Weisel, Naomi Klein and Ha-joon Chang. I recently read a book by Jenna Blum called "Those Who Save Us" - I highly recommend this book.

I love comedy, adventure, romantic and trashy movies.

TV: Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory, Suits, Glee, The Office, Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Criminal Minds, NCIS:LA, Fringe and The Middle.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Dang. Hard question. I'm a fan of architecture so seeing and walking the Great Wall was an amazing experience. I also recommend all the East Asian Palaces including the Forbidden Palace (China), Gyeongbok-gung and especially Changdeok-gung, both in Seoul Korea.

I want to learn how to speak Spanish as my knowledge of Spanish is limited to "hello" and "Merry Christmas". I would also want to learn Mandarin - the idea that you can converse with more than a billion people excites me!
