CURRENT MISSION

Finding the mission...

I love travelling on a motorcycle since I started for my first trip in 2011, which took me 3 months across Southern Europe. Italy, Slovenia into the Balkan, Croatia, BIH to Sarajevo.

Till that time I was living a totally different lifestyle. I had my study, which I finished really successfull and afterwards worked for two years as an engineer in Germany and the US. But very soon I felt exhausted pretty much and couldn't find the reason and "Why?" which justified this "common lifestyle" for myself. So I started searching for more and travelling by motorbike helped me very much and is the best way to explore our world for me right now!

So I quit my engineers job and took off for this 3 month trip and liked it so much, that in 2012 I took on a much longer trip for 9 months all across Southern Europe, the Balkans into Turkey and Iran.

In 2013 doing a big tour around the Black Sea across Ukraine, Russia into Georgia and Armenia and returning hoem to Germany across Turkey and my beloved Balkan.

In the end of 2013 I took on my old engineers job again and worked in Germany and America again. But very soon figured out, that this lifestyle is not mine anymore, unfortunately. So right now I am planing for another big Motorcycle trip in 2015 across North and South America, Panamericana!

PHILOSOPHY

Eins, zwei, drei im Sauseschritt, läuft die Zeit wir laufen mit, schaffen schuften, werden älter, träger, müder und auch kälter, bis auf einmal man erkennt, dass das Leben geht zu End. Viel zu spät begreifen viele, die versäumten Lebensziele, Freunde Schönheit und Natur, Gesundheit, Reisen und Kultur. Darum Mensch sei zeitig Weise! Höchste Zeit ist's! Reise, reise!! 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I found CS through a "coincedent" (travelling changed my point of view about coincendents), while reading a book about a German guy, who travelled from Germany to South America into the Antarctica without any money :-) Very interesting and funny!!

I also heard from several motorcyclers about CS and that they are doing it a lot.

I'd like to give back at least some of the support, which I recieved during my previous trips!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I had a very good time and met very nice and friendly people.
Thanks to the CS-project at this point!

Motorcycle-travelling, Agricultural machines,

I'm around farm machines during the last fifteen years and worked for a big agricultural company in Europe and Northern America. I still like it to work on these machines and operate them...
