My name is Dakota Corrales and I am a 22 year old masters student working towards my Masters in Special Education (Applied Behavioral Analysis). I reside in the bay area of California where I currently work in applied behavioral analysis with the a company called Gateway Learning Group.
I have a deep interest in music, I sing and play a few different instruments. I am also a huge theater nerd. I enjoy outside activities such as hiking, swimming, and camping. Additionally, I love reading and movies.
I studied abroad in Florence, Italy for 5 months during my undergrad. Because of this I am proficient in speaking Italian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel but I also have student loans and can’t afford to book hotels all the time. I also think that the best way to get to know an area is through the locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite books are the Harry Potter series. I also enjoy 1984, A Clockwork Orange, and many other books.
I don't have a favorite genre of music. I do, however, dislike country music and screamo.
I really enjoy musicals and my favorites include Wicked and Dear Evan Hansen.
I love movies in general. Admittedly, I am a Disney fan. I also really enjoy physiological thrillers. However, I'm into watching pretty much anything.
