About Me
Hello!
I'm a travelling writer who recently quit his corporate sales job in Canada to explore the world in search of inspiration! I'm a very open minded person who loves great conversation, food and music. I love studying philosophy, and try to incorporate lots of ethics and logic into my writing.
I'm in the process of writing a book and a few short stories, and short stays with new friends will really help extend my time in Europe. I'm a very passionate person who loves to observe and experience life, and then write about it afterwards!
Looking forward to making new friends here!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling on a budget means that I'm looking to make friends that would be willing to let me stay with them. I hope to form relationships where I can provide exciting conversation and potentially cook a few great meals in exchange for a couch to sleep on.
My main focus is on reading and writing, so I'll be a very quiet house guest who won't intrude on your own routines or schedules. I do love meeting new people though, and am always open to enjoying a lively conversation over a nice meal to get to know each other!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This trip has been one of the most amazing things I've ever done. I was very unsatisfied with my corporate life in Canada, so I decided to quit and buy a one way ticket to Barcelona without much planning. I've never travelled much before (this is my first time leaving North America), but decided to pack a backpack and start seeing the world.
It's been an amazing experience so far - I've met so many amazing people and seen some wonderful cities. And I've gotten lots of inspiration for my stories as well! I'm excited to continue on this adventure!
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe that conversation is the best way to learn. I love spending time with new people and getting to understand the problems that they face as well as what motivates and drives them. I love teaching new friends about philosophy and learning about new cultures .
I also love teaching and learning about food and music. Hopefully we can exchange some great recipes or share some great music!
