Overview
About Me
I'm a Deaf college student and traveller wanting to seek as much of the world as possible! This summer was the perfect opportunity since I have family in Germany- I visit them every seven years- and that is this summer. This summer is also the same time when World Federation of the Deaf Congress (WFD) would be hosted in Paris, France, so I decided to go to WFD then take three weeks to travel as much as possible (my goals: Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam, Gielthoorn, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Koln, then smaller towns in Germany with my family). I'm bringing my closest friend (Grace) with me from college. She is hearing and is incredibly creative and thoughtful of others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling solo or with a friend would bring personal growth and lifelong connections. Anything you can share would be much appreciated :)
Interests
spontaneous little side trips, long train rides, new food, reading, running, art, photography, and stepping out of my comfort zone!
Music, Movies, and Books
Any book can keep me occupied. I love music with a heavy bass- the louder, the better!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Puerto Rico and met nine other deaf people there!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook well, know my constellations, can do art, as well as how to solve a Rubik's cube!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A fun time! I can teach you basic ASL and plenty of games (and make you laugh!). Collaging and black out poetry are also a favorite to do with others.
Countries I’ve Visited
Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Slovenia
