Overview
About Me
New to CS, but I am open to becoming a part of the community! I am traveling Europe and the US for a few months and am looking for affordable accommodations, friends, and lasting memories wherever I go!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Make friends around the world and find affordable places to stay. I'm into the immersion experience. I plan to work on international energy policy, and I want to learn from everyone I can, while also keeping global contacts.
Interests
I sing and play the ukelele. I am a chemical engineer with a focus on alternative energy. Like most Americans, I also like mainstream music and Starbucks. It's a tragic flaw.

Music, Movies, and Books
A cappella, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Of Monsters and Men, Maroon 5, Bob's Burgers, Mean Girls, Spiderman, HTGAWM, Simpsons, Big Bang Theory, Parks and Recreation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I started an a cappella group at the University of Texas at Austin and competed in the ICCAs, just like in Pitch Perfect.
I was also an extra in Pitch Perfect 2.
I walked by the fridge without opening it once.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to discuss energy policy and the environmental movement within the U.S.A. I also would love to sing songs and learn music with people, and I'm happy to go out to clubs and restaurants, or just chill and hang out! I can't dance to save my life, but I always try anyways.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A smile. Just kidding, I am happy to help cook, hang out, share stories, or really whatever you'd like. I am up for adventure and negotiation, and am very open to learning about all cultures, lifestyles, languages, and interests, although I may need your patience and guidance!
