About Me

Hi! My name is Liselotte (or Lisa) and I love to travel. Volunteering is also a big part of my life and at the moment I save food from supermarkets (food that they normally throw away) which I distribute in the community. I have also adopted a 'moneyless' lifestyle and live exclusively on the basis of barter and recycling (you can read more about this on my blog: liselotteroosen.blogspot.com). In addition I am very much into self-sufficient living, eco-communities, organic farming and alternative building methods (cob, earthships, etc).
At the moment I am doing a PhD in Environmental Psychology (Visual art and Climate change). Previously I worked as a psychologist/therapist for 10 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking forward to meeting new people via the CS community! I love exchanging cultural perspectives, different points of view and learning from others in this way.

Interests

Animals, nature, travel, self-sufficient living.
What I like about Couchsurfing is getting the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world and learning about other cultures, views and values.
And if you want to join me to the karaoke bar that would be great! I love singing.
