Full time music teacher, married, 4 grown children, grandma (not old enough ha-ha), environmental activist, part time organic gardener, adventurous, food and wine lover.

Invest in relationships and experience, not in worldly goods (although I like beautifull things...) and live responsible towards our wonderful planet

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host as many as possible, our house is open to many people although we are very busy, they are welcome to stay and entertain themselves in Stellenbosch. The central district is walking distance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I find CS very interesting people, adventurous, easy going and flexible. I value it greatly that people are willing to share their resources and time.

I love many musics, that is my profession but I prefer silence. I like thought provoking art movies like Adams Aebler; Babettes Feast. Our house is overflowing with books..we read a lot

Back-packing with our 4 young children through Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic in 1995
Working in rehab and recreational programmes to better the lives of street children in Stellenbosch
