If you are looking to experience PEI, I can show you the best of what this province has to offer. I know the island very well and can show you places that most islanders born here do not know about. Whatever your reason for visiting the island, I am sure I can make some recommendations and/or show you great spots.
I can offer you your own bedroom with a nice queen sized bed, no need to stay on the couch. While I prefer to host single travelers, it is not a steadfast rule and I can host more depending on the circumstances. If more than one traveler, then there is plenty of room on the queen sized bed or there is a second guest room with a single bed. It's not quite as comfortable as the main guest room bed but will do in a pinch.
While I am a generous host, I do expect my guests to be able to pay for certain things like their own drinks/meals if we go out on the town or while touring. I will take care of such things such as gas while we are touring the island, drinks at my place (I have a kick ass margarita machine I like to use), wifi and you are more than welcome to use my washing machine/dryer (as long as you don't have 10 loads of laundry to do).
As I said, I am a fairly generous host, but I don't like freeloaders. I also have two house rules; 1) do not bring other guests into my home. I opened my home to you, do not take advantage of my generousity. 2) no staying in my house alone while I am at work, unless you are staying multiple days and I know you better and feel comfortable leaving you alone in my house while I am at work. Also, while my dog is a gentle giant, I just want to ensure that he does not mistake you for an intruder if I am not around.
For entertainment (perhaps on rainy evenings) I have a full sized foosball table and big home theater system for movies and games.
