Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy seeing and experiencing a place from the perspective of a local. Staying in a home or apartment offers a window to the culture. Hosting fulfills my love of meeting people and learning about them and their lives.

Interests

I love to travel. Made it about 2/3rds of the way around the world. I enjoy art and architecture. Huge foodie, huge fan that is. I am not quite huge but obviously love food. Have taken cooking classes in several countries and looking forward to learning more.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is so varied. I have gone totally digital on books and music. I hear a song somewhere, if it hits a spot, I download it. Sometimes I can't speak the language, but the feel of the music interest me.
I read all the time, one of my favorite ways to waste an afternoon while traveling.
