Hello! My name is Dalia, I am from NYC and São Paulo. I studied geography and studio art in school and I am currently living in Boa Vista for a bit! I enjoy traveling, being in unfamiliar places and and having new experiences. One of my favorite things about traveling is meeting new people along the way and sharing experiences with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The first time I couchsurfed was with my dad and sister when I was 16 years old. My dad wanted to take my sister and I on a trip, but on a tiny budget, so we carried a tent with us and camped wherever we could find a spot. My sister told my dad about couchsurfing and he was very down with the idea, so she found us a few really cool hosts throughout the country and we all became immediate fans of couchsurfing! For a while I didn't have the conditions to host people, but when I lived in my own place for a few months I was able to host and that was a great experience! Meeting poeple and showing them around the city was super fun!

I love swimming, biking, canoeing, being outdoors. Meeting people, having interesting conversations, learning new things, connecting with people :)
