About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just a small-town boy with hopes to see the big world on a medium-sized budget.
ABOUT ME
Outgoing. Outspoken. Out.
I enjoy indie films, live music, eating out and dancing.
PHILOSOPHY
Every day I say the same thing, "Today is going to be a great day; better than yesterday, but not nearly as great as tomorrow." Granted, some days aren't as sunny, but if I can make one person smile, mission accomplished.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This may not be as amazing as most stories, but while returning to Johnson Space Center (Clearlake, Texas) from a weekend trip to Florida, my car broke down on the highway in the middle of nowhere. I was with 5 friends on a round-trip visit to see a rocket launch (which was scrubbed, btw). We found ourselves stranded somewhere in Georgia "out of the service range" of AAA.
Putting my engineering degree and awesome people skills to use, I managed to save the day by taking photos of the broken parts and hitching a ride 5 miles to the nearest auto store. The cashier was able to identify the problem, suggest the parts required to fix it, and give enough instructions that with help, I was able to repair the car enough to make the 900 mile drive back to Clear Lake.
24 hours later, at 4 in the morning I pulled into my driveway. The return trip was plagued with engine trouble, traffic, and rainy weather but everyone made it back safely. Overnight I became a legend, and merely 4 hours later I got to tell the story over coffee at work.
Teach, Learn, Share
For some reason I can remember random useless facts, but often forget important useful things. I'm sure I have some skills, but at the moment they elude me.
