ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Davide, I am 27 and I am from Modena, Italy. Since I was born, I always lived with my family in Sassuolo (twenty minutes car from here), and now, since i started university in 2011, I live alone in Modena.
I like quite everything! everything to eat, almost every sports, everything to do. I think, I am a quite funny person, I like joking, and I like people.
I like travelling, most of all meeting everyday life of other countries, and most of all visiting nature instead of monuments or museums. Maybe it's this that brought me to climbing, my favourite sport, especially on real rock outdoor! I like excursions and trekking and camping.
I have a band with some friends where I play drums, and we practice in my garage (many famous bands started playing in their garages ahah).
I love my family, my friends and my dogs which unfortunately lives with my family in Sassuolo.
My biggest travelling experience was studying one year in Chichester, West Sussex, UK, and my Erasmus in Tarragona, Spain. I think it has changed my way of thinking and living, opening my mind. I visited a lot of places, but many are still on the list!

PHILOSOPHY

I am trying to get to know as many point of views as possible, and I think travelling and hosting and meeting people is a good way to do it.

Trying to host as many people as possible and sharing everything I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted Jordi, a nice guy for Barcelona. Even if it was only for one day, we had a good time playing table tennis and chatting!

Then I have been on an Interrail in February 2012, where I've met several couchsourfers from Germany, Netherlands and Sweden that hosted me. Every experience was different and amazing!

Intereses

I have many interests I guess! I am very active, I like all kind of sports, in particular Climbing which is the one I practice more (indoor or outside in the mountains). I play Drums in a band in my garage, we play Nirvana, Sex Pistols and punk covers, and I am also trying in my free time to learn a bit of guitar. I like excursions, I like visiting natural places, and I definetly LOVE animals (I have two wonderful dogs Fluke and Gipsy).I like going to concerts, listening to music, playing table games, or just chatting with people about everything interesting, the world, nature, the universe, UFOs, everything! (sometimes I have philosophical moments :)I like going to the seaside and watch the dawn, I like being in nature most of all. Anyway, I am a Medical Doctor, so I like everything which concern science.

Música, películas y libros

Music..well, I used to like Metal a lot when I was younger, but now I prefer bands like Placebo, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Libertines, Babyshambles..I also love Folk music and going to Folk concerts! It's lot of fun!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach some Italian or some English I guess! Or I can teach a few notions about playing drums :) Apart from this, I like sharing opinions and cultures from my country and the others. I can cook some Italian pasta! (I am not a very good chef) but I will try to improve myself in the future so I can share Italian food in the world! :) I would like to try new sports, to listen to other music, to meet new people and learn whatever they can teach me!
