Overview
About Me
My name is Dallas and I am a Financial Analyst working for a Fortune 500 company in Chicago IL, United States. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people and I love the outdoors. I have been an avid camper since I was 15 and while on vacation I love to fish and hike and see all the beautiful sights our awesome planet has to offer.
Sitting in front of a laptop for a living demands frequent and purposeful vacations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel, but you can't always camp wherever you would like. Couchsurfing allows me to meet new people and make the most out of my limited vacation time.
Currently my living situation does not lend itself to sheltering other surfers, however I fully intend to pay it forward once space becomes more abundant in my living situation.
Interests
Quiero aprender mas lenguas! Je parle un peu Francais et Espanol, but there is always room to learn more! In my opinion, if you are not expanding your mind then your world is shrinking. This is my greatest fear.
My trade lends itself to my interest in that I am interested and engaged in business and Finance. I also like talking about the things you should never talk about; Politics, Religion, and the human condition... but don't worry I don't judge and I have a wide (but well established) moral center.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Stranger in a Strange Land, Siddhartha, The Alchemist, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (If you know them you know me, if you don't then read them)
Movies: Game of Thrones is fun, Forrest Gump, Troll 2, not a fan of horror flicks but I will watch anything.
Music: Everything pretty much, to be honest music in general doesn't do it for me but I can enjoy any good tune. Red Solo Cup is the closest to US Country Music that I go.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built an Ice Bar once, that was pretty fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach any non-professional anything they want to know about Personal Finance, Capital Markets, and Micro-Finance. I can teach most people advanced Excel modeling techniques. I am very patient, I will teach you English if you teach me _________.
I am an excellent cook and I will make you any type of food you want.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will cook anything! I can kill, prep, cook and serve anything as small or smaller than a goose. If you are vegetarian i can make you the worst looking and best tasting ratatouille you have ever had. I am a level 9000 grill-cook.
I can share a story, a laugh, and a beer.
