About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to explore new places as much as I can. I require constant change, and I thrive from it.

ABOUT ME

I am recent college grad from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Like everyone else that uses Couchsurfing, I am always excited to be on the move. Ever since I studied abroad in the spring of 2014, I have been inspired to see and experience as much as I can. Within the next year and a half my girlfriend and I will be going to South America to teach English.

PHILOSOPHY

My only philosophy is to be a good person. If that is the one thing I can control then I think I will be alright. Well, I guess there is two. I think everyone should always be willing to try new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am only surfing. With roommates it makes it difficult to host. Will most likely host in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have technically never used couchsurfing to couchsurf, but I have crashed with my fair share of surfers via facebook. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experiences.

Interests

I love being outside and exploring whether it be the urban sprawl, forests, or mountains. I am in love with hiking and eating well. I have a new-found passion in cooking. I also love learning about new cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting a good friend (foreign exchange student) in his home country of the Netherlands. Drinking endless Heinekens

Spending 2 nights camping out under a full-moon in the Sahara.

Seeing the city of Toledo blew my mind. I had never seen such old architecture, and I just couldn't comprehend how old the city really was.

Seeing the aquaduct in Segovia really took my breath away. Seeing something that was built in the 1st or 2nd century was something I thought I would never see.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
