About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is attending a conference in Albuquerque to get me closer to accomplishing my overall mission- Helping my people.

ABOUT ME

Hippopotamus. I like to say that. I want to be an Adventure Education Major at Fort Lewis College but I'm always changing my mind. I can be spontaneous but somehow I can switch that off and be very cautious-sometimes. Oh, and I'm Navajo. I'm of the Salt Clan and born for Big Water Clan. I have a 3 year old daughter named Blu. That's all I want to say right now ha.

PHILOSOPHY

The hardest obstacle in life is starting and being consistent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't yet. I literally just heard about this website about 3 minutes ago. I think it's genius.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None to report now, but I'm looking to spend the night in Albuquerque tonight!

Interests

I like to run more times than not. I like to paintball. Love adventures. My really really want to learn how to speak Navajo fluently.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't listen to music anymore. I only listen to tradition music from my culture, but I like all kinds of music. I like to read but I can never stick with a whole book. I like movies that make you think, usually boring ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

March for a Greener Cleaner Nation. This is the name of a two week long roadside trash clean up for 95 miles I organized in the summer of 2012. It was a message to my people of our Nation that the hardest obstacles in life is starting. Which could be applied to the solution of our dying language, all you have to do is start.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I have a lot to share about the Navajo culture and history. But I could go on and on, so I'll save that for when we meet.
