I am a professional musician. An accordionist and jazz musician. I live in NY and play alot on the east coast. I love French swing and waltz music. I love meeting new people and nice conversation with people who are engaged and as good listeners as they are story tellers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tend to be on the road alot lately. And like many traveling musicians I am always looking for a couch to crash on. The hospitality of the cs community is so awesome! I always try and contribute something to the house I stay at, usually it is to bring some alcohol or food to contribute to the house, or to help clean or cook or something. Hospitality should never been taken for granted and always reciprocated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Pretty new to the website, but have had fun adventures with great generous folks. Went on a busking tour in a volkswagon beetle with a giant trunk on the back to the south a few years ago with my juggler friend. We did our juggling and accordion routine and my snake oil show. And paid for gas and food, and slept on the couches and floors of the people we met. I recently (Jan 2012) crashed with some great musicians near the peabody institute in Baltimore, MD.
