About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To change the world via small scale farming primarily using pasture fed animals with symbiotic relationships

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town and traveled the world desiring to change the world but the world changed me. Through my travels I realized that every place has its positives and negatives but only one place has my family, so I moved back to my home town. This was only one reason I moved back among many, though. Philosophy has driven me to farm as well. I want to live under the old understanding of reality which is more along the lines of nature shapes me more than I shape nature. I generally have baby goats that I bottle feed and in the spring I have baby lambs. Life is always entertaining here and I am always up for some international dialogue.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Thomistic existentialist. This is a metaphysical system that then reaches to practical applications in every other field. It is primarily based off of a transcending and imminent being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have an extra bed room on my little farm here near the interstate and someone told me about this and I thought what a fun thing this could be. They could visit my farm and spread the word about this amazing style of farming, too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I meet a very funny young lady last night that loves couch surfing and I decided to host such interesting folk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hand milked my cow for several months, made my own butter, etc. and currently I have milk goats in milk.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be able to share a method of farming that is revolutionary, humane, fun, and possible. I want to learn how to less rational.
