ABOUT ME

I love to meet new people, hang out and have a good time. I like to talk and share thoughts with others. I think it's a great way to learn about the world. I like to party and dance as much as sitting in a bar. Beside that, I love to study, read books, watch good films, skating, snowboarding and running. I also like to study at the University. It lets you develop yourself. In addition to my main course of studies I like to participate in Philosophy (especially Feminism and gender) and Psychology courses. I like to meet people from different domains who bring in diverse perspective. I like to paint in my free time and play my guitar (I have both a classic and an electric one). I've been playing for over 13 years now.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. I believe that everyone should live their lives the way they believe as long as it doesn't offend other people. I think the world is more diverse and interesting as long as there are people with different thoughts and opinions who live in it.

I like to watch the Cohen brothers' and Tarantino's movies. My favorite film is "Before Sunrise" featuring Ethan Hawk and Julie Delpy. I love the way two completely strangers get along and have great discussions over various topics. Bruce Willis is one of my favorite actors as well as Gwyneth Paltrow. "Sliding Doors" is one of her films I like. I think "Die Hard" is the best action film ever produced. I like the way Willis plays an individual who does things his own way.
Regarding music, I like mostly Rock (preferably british), Jazz and classic. To name a few: Franz Ferdinand, Moseley Shoals, Leonard Cohen, Bill and Sebastian, Beethoven, Supergrass, The Decembrists, Ocean Colour Scene, The Bluetones, Francoise Hardy.
My favorite books are Don Quixote, Crime and Punishment, Lord of the Rings, The Brothers Karamazov, Anna Karenina and Lord of the Flies.

I can teach you Hebrew, how to play both a classical and electric guitar and the piano. I can also explain some nice phenomena and paradoxes in Physics as well as having philosophy and gender discussions (about Laura Mulvey and Simone De Beauvoir for example). I am an amateur (classical) Ballet dancer so if you are into Ballet, we can practice together.
I would love to learn new languages and especially Mandarin, German and French. Would always love to meet nice open-minded people for a tandem of this sort. Also, if you are a painter or a musician of some sort, we can make something artsy together.
