My name is Damaris, I am 25 years old and from Germany. I always try to make the best out of situations even when unpredicted things happen. Because that means for me: improvising. I love nature and animals, and I do care about our planet earth thats one of the reasons why I am a vegetarian. I am a Person that is politically very interested and wants to know what is going on in our world, politically, socially and in societies. I love to take pictures with my camera (recently I worked on a photo project about my grand-parents that are married for over 63 years).

I am really grateful for all the great memories I collected while travelling. I hope there are many more to come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very communicative and an open person, always interested in stories other have to tell (that’s one reason why I am studying Journalism and why I'm on Couchsurfing :) ) and of course I love to travel, to get to know new cultures and learn from others.

I am very grateful for so many things. But one amazing thing I did recently was to try Wakeboard for the first time. Not that easy, but sooo much fun :)
