About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live each day at a time, don't let the adventure stop.

ABOUT ME

I am a very relaxed, easy going person. I get along with just about everybody :) I'm open minded and like to try new things, which is why I'm travelling as much as I can. I'm also somewhat passionate about photography, quite passionate about ancient history, and more recently passionate about helping and healing others. Which is why I went to school to become and RMT. I come from a huge family so I have virtually endless patience. I love to be as helpful as I can and I'm often the first to step up if something needs to be done. I also play the saxophone and love music. I am a cat person, but I also find small dogs adorable :D My favourite colour is the rainbow and I detest oranges.

PHILOSOPHY

I basically believe that I can do whatever I want and the only thing that ever stops me from going places and doing things would be myself. I believe hard work is always rewarded and there's no point having regrets, you might as well just learn from your mistakes instead of wishing you hadn't made them. If you don't trust yourself, you can't trust anybody, when the going gets tough, suck it up and punch the tough in the face. God never gives you something you can't handle. Don't count the days, make the days count.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by enriching the lives of others with my presence in their homes :)
And I hope to soon start hosting others:)

Interests

Photography, ancient history, reading. I can sometimes talk quite passionately about films and TV. I enjoy taking care of people. I'm also interested in working with young children who are developmentally delayed. I'm fascinated by cultures around the world and I aim to immerse myself as much as possible in a country when I go there because there's just so many things you can't learn by researching it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Howls Moving Castle, Moulin Rouge, Pirates of the Caribbean, Wedding Singer, etc etc. There's so many.
Music: All. As in, I probably like a song from every genre I've heard of, not I like every single song I've ever heard.
Books: Don't even get me started. I keep a book journal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing? I guess that depends on your perspective. A lot of people tell me that going to live in NZ for 6 months fresh out of highschool is an amazing thing to do. But, meh. One of the most amazing things I've seen is a severely autistic boy who's never had any friends go up and voluntarily talk to someone civilly. Children are amazing :)

Teach, Learn, Share

During my short life one valuable lesson I have learned is that it is always better to be honest. I don't believe in shielding people from the truth. I think it is best to be straight up about what you want, what you feel, and what you think.

Countries I’ve Visited
