About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get away from the real world before I start on my PhD in Molecular Genetics!
ABOUT ME
I love to travel and see new things; unfortunately recently I have been locked indoors studying and doing research in a bacterial genetics lab. I work with a cool biofuels microbe!
When I find time away from my bench, I always find myself looking for that perfect shot (photography). Be prepared to be shot if my camera is out!
I like to cook and eat. I like to brew and drink beer. I find much enjoyment in making my own things, be it food, beer, pictures, landscaping, or pretty much anything else.
I am very outgoing and also very spacey. If you find me zoning out; don't hesitate to smack me and being me back to reality.
I smile most of the time, and enjoy being around other happy people. Im pretty sure I like people in general.
PHILOSOPHY
I do research on little tiny things to get a better look at how significantly bigger things interact and survive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Finally out of school, I now have the time to host and travel.
I've always been a strong supporter of local guidance and tourism - after all nobody can publish a travel guide on current and local events! Couchsurfing allows me to show others the great spots in an otherwise industrial and academic city.
Interests
Photography, Beer Brewing (& Drinking!), Anything Outdoors; Hiking, Backpacking, Snowboarding. Anime too. Nice things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The "Ah-hah!" look on a student's face after explaining something they are having difficulties understanding. I feel it's a healthy ego-boost.
