ABOUT ME

Hey all, it's David. I've been told I'm laid back, a solid racquetball player, and a lover of different kinds of beers.

I'm into most sports, but my favorites include football, basketball, and baseball. I like to stay pretty open about things, and pretty much roll with whatever the day brings me.

I've lived in Arizona all of my life and hope to change that sometime after college - possibly moving to Portland, Oregon.

I am really excited to couchsurf and couchhost. I am extremely flexible with either, the experience of meeting people and growing as a person makes it all worth it.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to enjoy all of the small things in life and focus on the in-ornate parts of the world. I want to travel more and see all I can, after all you only live once. I always enjoy getting to know different people and coming across people who have unique ways of looking upon the world. Life is an adventure or nothing at all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am getting familiarized with the process in hopes of meeting some cool people and experiencing what i've been missing! I have met up with a few couchsurfers in Portland, Oregon and co-hosted a surfer from Boston, PA when I was taking classes in Tucson.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A good friend of mine here in Tucson hosted a couchsurfer from Boston, which was really fun. It really changed the way I think about Tucson, and made me really appreciate what I can overlook sometimes. I'm friends with two couchsurfers in Tucson, and they tell me all the time that I should give it a shot. My two Tucson friends are now traveling abroad in Europe and South Asia.

Wii Golf is always a good challenge for me. When I do play video games they usually tend to focus on sports, I have a great appreciation for competition and the comradery it creates.

I really enjoy learning the way others live and figuring out the way I want to live my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is a trite statement but I like most kinds of music, with the exception of country, it is not generally my thing. Some of the current music I have been listening to are, The Black Keys, Bon Iver, Rebolution, Tom Petty, Latest Johnny Cash etc. I really enjoy all different movies too but some of the tops are.... Pineapple Express, Your Highness, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Independence Day, The Matrix, Garden State, Knocked Up and Paul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think seeing the natural beauty of Hawaii was one of those life experiences that will stay with me. i love trying to see the beauty in the world around me and Hawaii exemplified beauty.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really like to keep learning how to maximize the joy in life. I think my personality of going with the flow and trying to reduce stress is something I can bring to the table as well as keep learning.
