Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish my PhD and somehow ensure my decent and independent survival in the future while facing existential questions and getting entertained with a lot of random stuff
ABOUT ME
Curious about the world and its people, easy going in general
PHILOSOPHY
Way too little space to answer to that word. I generally support causes for social justice, but don't adhere to any specific school of thought... Philosophical discussions over drinks are a thing ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't been active yet here in Switzerland, but will likely join the CS community here soon.
Depending on the date/how busy I am, I could host people or meet for a beer/coffee and show them sights around the place. I'm adaptable when being hosted, and like to explore the places I visit from the point of view of locals.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted a couple of times, also met some couchsurfers who were hosted by close friends and helped in showing them around the city were I was. I also joined a couple of couchsurfer meetings in Mexico City with very fun results.
Interests
Different cultures, their languages, customs and quirks (and food!), science, philosophy, geography, history, random curiosities of the world... Also movies, books music, good beer, etc...

Movies: Almost Famous, Underground, Pulp Fiction, Star Wars ...
Music: The Who, Joy Division, At the Drive-In, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, The Mars Volta, Goran Bregović ...
Books: The Silmarillion (JRR Tolkien), Top of the World (Hans Ruesch), At the Mountains of Madness (Lovecraft), Cien Años de Soledad (García Márquez)...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Biking over a frozen pond (don't do it at home ;) ),touching a penguin, exploring a cave system for 7 hrs, catching (unkowingly) the most poisonous jellyfish in the Mediterranean without being stung... and well, living in 6 different cities, with all the experiences that it entails
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to know about a lot of random stuff, from languages to dinosaurs, learning/teaching happens spontaneously
