About Me
CURRENT MISSION:
Just finished uni started my 1st engineering job in Melbourne, but am already saving money and planning an indefinitely long travel shenanigan
ABOUT ME:
Born in Adelaide (Australia) but have lived all over the rugged country. I'm a friendly, easy going, fun loving bloke who is always keen for some adrenalin pumping experience, especially surfing.
PHILOSOPHY:
Live life to the fullest: achieve, inspire, experience
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel is so rewarding - its an opportunity to experience life from other peoples perspective, and probably the best way to see the best sides of people's nature.
HOSTING:
I hope to give information, a sleeping place, and a great time in Victorian to travellers. Offering supporting and giving to others is an important role for me to fulfil as I have received much generosity from unexpected souls both throughout my upbringing and in my earlier travels to Central Europe, South East Asia, and New Zealand.
BEING HOSTED:
Travel is a keen interest of mine and I intend to travel. It would be great to:
-Meet locals and experience aspects of culture in a more intimate manner
-Receive travel and exploration recommendations
-Be taken along for activities whether it be playing some local sport, surfing, rock climbing or seeing some of the awesome landscape
Interests
HOBBIES - surfing, yoga, snowboarding, outdoor activities, living, loving, exploring, and getting lost
INTERESTS - coastal landscapes, history, meteorology
SPORT - tennis, hockey, AFL, cricket, basketball and squash.
Jack of all trades and master of none. Would love to fill in for any of your sporting teams if you ever need someone
Surfing is my true passion. What I love about surfing is it is no normal sport, it is a lifestyle. The dedication one needs to first find the right weather, locate the type of break/wave you feel like surfing, and finally the skill of catching a riding a wave. Everything about it is a total adventure - exploring new landscapes, familiarising yourself with different local weather patterns, meeting new people, and trying out new waves. Out of every pursuit I have ever followed, surfing has been the most challenging. Equally, it has been the most rewarding. Being a surfer also correlates well with my previous and current lifestyle of being a full time student and traveller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saved a swimmer swept 300m offshore in double overhead surf and was subsequently mistaken as the victim when the helicopter arrived and I was paddling back out to get some waves
