Since his graduation from the Physics Department of Ioannina, Greece, Damianos Voganatsis has been working as a teacher and facilitator with children of all ages, teaching mainly Physics and Environmental Education. During that time he also attended workshops in Cinema and Folk Fairy Tale Narration. For 2.5 years he was a founding member of a voluntary theater-pedagogical group, which aimed at raising children's awareness in environmental issues.

From 2008-2010, being an IKY scholarship student, he studied Film Production at the University for the Creative Arts in Surrey (UK). Since 2009, he has been designing & teaching in several cross-cultural Media Education-Literacy workshops for children, youth and teachers in UK, Germany, Serbia and Greece. He co-operates with Greek Film Archive, Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People, Karpos, Theatre in Education & Media Education center of Belgrade.

His films “Metaxourgio” (co-direction) & “Gobolino” have been awarded at the festivals: of National Short Film festival of Drama, Hellenic Documentary Festival of Chalkida & Athens International Digital Film Festival PLATFORMA. His documentary film “Master & Servant” has been used as pedagogical research material. He is student at the Department of Primary level Education.
