Going to Finland in February wasn't an obvious choice to make but... something fascinates me there, and I want a taste of the Finnish winter ^^ and a look at the auroras... and Santa Claus :P
Starting from Helsinki and then... going north. Not much planned, thus open to any kind of advice ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Berlin, Vienna, Copenhagen... all wonderful experiences... we learnt a lot with different people and different cultures. The best way to travel.
In Finland, the most amazing moment with my host and her friends : getting to spend time with them in a traditional smoke sauna and then bathing in the icy river nearby... and eventually a beautiful exemple of the northern lights that I beheld while standing naked in the snow. One of the most precious moments of my life.
