I'm happy that you're currently preparing a trip to our place (or checking that I'm the right person to host :).

I'm enjoying Cs time to time depending my life occupation. The great things is that every person I met in this community stayed etched in my memory.
To know me a bit more, keep reading !

I grew up in a ski resort named Châtel, in the south east of France and start skiing when I was 2 years old.
Now I'm teaching ski every winter to friends and Csers (4 to 75 years old).

Besides that I've spent a year in Singapore in 2010 which is the real beginning of my passion for backpacking trips.

Today I'm 200% involved in a startup company as CEO. Therefore, I'm often busy or away for business. However I have a real pleasure to welcome new travelers here in Grenoble.

2018 update : My wife and I are waiting a little boy so we won't host anymore until everything is under control :D. See you for a drink !

For those who may host me :
I'm very friendly ! Some people would say talk active... but don't worry I'm also super adaptable and capable of doing things as your old roommates would do xD.
Generally I only need some space to put my mattress and sleeping bag. But couch is always appreciated :p.

For those who want to surf our place :
We have a nice cat so you may have to share the room with it :).
We usually bring our guest with us for sports activities (if they want to).
We are not directly at the center of the city so keep in mind that you have to take a bus to come (late arriving check with us first).

HOW I DISCOVER CS COMMUNITY ?
While I was studying in Singapore I planned to visit Bali.
As a first experience I found Reni which accepted me for 1 night.
After 5 days at her place I understood how magic CS was.
Since that I never ever again travel without trying to meet local Csers.
A real way of traveling !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed many times at the beginning (2010-2011). Then I moved to Paris and start hosting in my super small flat. Hosting in Paris was a real job, 10 requests a week minimum!
Finally I ended in Grenoble (2014) and I'm hosting and meeting time to time Csers !

Breaking News 2016 : we now have a spare bedroom !

Interests

I teach ski and snowboard. I'm also enjoying ski touring with friends.
I'm diving at 40m deep and without dive master at 20m.
I'm trying to climb 6B route.
I'm usually the last one on the dancing area during party :p.

I usually dont talk that much about books movies or musics with Csers ...
However I'm always happy to hear about that if I have the opportunities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee Jumping (110meters !)
Dive with sharks, nice one of course.
Eat vietnamese street food and understand few minutes later that it was dog meat...
Create a startup and build something huge !
Skiing on a steep slope : 50° .

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Ski as well as snowboard.
I can try to teach you French ;), or the famous French accent!
I can talk about scuba diving basics.
You're computer have some trouble, I can try to help you and fix it.

You have a passion ? Then I'll be interest, unless if you are a thimble collector :D.
