Overview
About Me
As most people here I guess, I love to travel. But it’s not only travelling in which I’m interested , it’s also the journey, the adventure that await us, the thrill of discovering a new city, new people. And more importantly letting yourself submerge by all those emotions and appreciate the moment when you discover a new place. I'm currently based in Lisbon, Portugal where I'm working and studying.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because it’s something that I never tried before and I really enjoy trying new experiences and meeting new interesting people. So when I heard about couchsurfing from a friend I told myself that I would have to try that during my next travels.
Interests
When it comes to my interests I have to admit that they are really diverse. I love to study, discover new cultures, new countries, learn new languages. I like to hike, be in the wild and surrounded by a bountiful nature. And above all I think I’m into arts in general, just every kind of art: literature, cinema, music, painting, this year I started to learn how to sew with my grandmother! When it comes to create I have no limits.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m not really the kind to pick one favourite because I like to stay open to new discoveries but I guess so far my favourites books would be Atonement by Ian McEwan, O Riso de Deus by António Alçada Baptista and Chimera by John Barth. As for films, I guess it would be most of the Disney movies (if not all), Billy Eliot, Pride, and Spider Man.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing experience that I had this far was my exchange program in Leicester, England where I stayed for a semester. I’ve always been into travelling, since my young age, but it truly all started a year and an half ago with this experience. Since then I travelled to Greece, Spain, Portugal where I stayed almost 4 months to learn Portuguese. This experience was such a revelation for me and since then I can’t stop travelling. Recently I went to the USA and did a road trip all the way up to Seattle from LA.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don’t know what I can share with hosts but for sure a good chat is always great (even though I’m more of a listener than a talker). have a chat with new people is all that it needs to learn from each other’s experiences.
