Hello my name is Damien !
I'm a 33 years old French lad living in Nice at the moment.

My philosophy in life is to experience and learn new things constantly.
A more challenging goal I have is to become a better human being every single day.

I am into a huge diversity of activities.

I love the outdoors : hiking and trekking in the mountains are a huge part of my identity. Running, cycling, exercising on a daily basis are also very important to me (I try to, I promise). You can also find me in the moutains doing via ferrata or in the rivers enjoying some canyoning or rafting. Depending on where I am in the world, I happily trade my backpack for a surfboard or do windsurf. I always gaze in admiration at the wonders of nature (moutains, waterfalls, stars, northern lights,...) and will lose it in front of ancient trees or old monuments.

Being a outdoor person doesn't mean I don't enjoy spending time home also. I love reading books that make me ponder on deep ideas or teach valuable lessons. I usually read self-help books but will dive into some fiction (classic or not) with great pleasure. One of my main goal this year is to get better at cooking.

I do not use Couchsurfing to travel at the moment but I'm always delighted to host or meet travelers from all over the world.

Let's be honest Couchsurfing is a fantastic way to discover places when you are low on budget.
But the other great thing is that you get to meet people from all over the world; you can learn about new cultures, new food recipes and exchange about values and life vision. Sharing with couchsurfers is always an experience.

🎵 I listen to a lot of different music genres. Alternative rock, progressive rock, electronica, rap (French, Italian, US), hip-hop, folk for example.
Spotify is open everyday of the year on my phone.
