ABOUT ME

My boyfriend François and I (Damien) are a French couple. We're currently living in Toronto.
I guess we're the easy going and open minded kind of guys, always up to meet new folks. But it's up to you to confirm wether that's true or not! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Believe in kindness. Love, share and get out of your comfort zone.

Travelling is the best way to keep an open mind, it allows you to discover new cultures, new points of view... Knowing your own country is good, trying to get to know the other ones is even better!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We mainly surf at people's and make sure we bring our cheerfulness with us. They let us in their personal lives and it is only normal that in return they get something out of our visit.
We've also hosted a couple of times and it has always been great experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Positive positive positive! We have quite a solid experience now, mainly as surfers, but it is still nothing compared to some members of this site. We want to keep on meeting new folks, new places and are really thankful to all the people that we've met through CS so far, you guys are the best :)

Centres d'intérêt

Travelling of course, but also photography, litterature, meeting new people. Damien is fond of new technologies, and François is more into video games.
We're really open-minded and ready to discover new things!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Films: Independent films like Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, etc., and we're also big fan of TV series! Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time, Grey's Anatomy, The Walking Dead,... the list goes on and on :)

Music: Pretty open to all kinds of music, but our preference goes to rock and indie rock.

Books: Depends on the mood...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

- Sharing pastries with soldiers and hitchhiking next to the Dead Sea.
- Randomly meeting a girl in a bar in Lisbon, from the same little home town in France, but who lives in Canada (what are the odds???).
- Getting a civil union after 4 years of relationship and getting wed after 7!! (super cheesy we know)
- Many other things we can't remember right now, but we'll be happy to share once we meet you :)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

We really think you can learn a lot from other people, especially foreigners. They live abroad, meaning that their culture is different and that they are able to teach you at least one thing or two about their country...and therefore we'll be happy to chat and tell them about France, Luxembourg or the UK!

Sharing our experiences about the countries we've visited or lived in, giving advices and so on.
Damien is really into technologies and Apple, so you can always ask for help about that!
François has, among other things, a real knowledge in...Pokémon. Who knows if it might come in handy one day?
