I am a J-1 student from Kazakhstan, first time visiting the USA. I can describe myself as polite and friendly. I am 20 years old, and this is my first experience in CS. Lets follow each other in instagram: @qoltyrawn (https://www.instagram.com/qoltyrawn/?hl=en)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to know more about the USA and Boston, dive into Boston’s lifestyle and meet interesting people. It would be great to find a person who is not busy that day and we could hangout together. We may buy some snacks and watch movies or series at the night. I have already many friends from Turkey, Ukraine, Tunisia, Egypt, and others. And now it is time to makes friends from America, and this thoughts makes me really happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a particular genres of music that I love. I just used to listen what sounds good for me. It may be classical and hip-hop in a row in my playlist xD. Coming to the movies, I mostly like to watch fantastic ones, but when watching with friends I may watch anything. Also I am keen on watching anime series. I am not interested in reading books, but the most liked book by me is 1984 by George Orwell. Also I read many stories of Sherlock Holmes and some manga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, when I was in Turkey for an internship with friend of mine, I had 2 sleepless nights before the flight back to Kazakhstan. The reason is that our dormitory booking contract ended 2 days before the flight day, and we were unable to rebook. To our luck, we made many good friends there, and one of them let us to stay a night in car parking where he worked. We were talking all night and have not slept at all. Then, we started to search for another place to go for a whole day, but my friend injured his leg when playing basketball and was not able to walk a lot. We decided to sit in a cafe, and the nearest was the starbucks coffee. That day we were waiting for our flights in there, and it was not much fun. That time I didnt know about Couchsurfing and missed a chance to CS in Turkey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I dont think we will get bored together. I may teach to speak in Russian and Kazakh. We may play music and sing a songs if you are into it. We may play video games or have a nice conversation. Thats all up to you :)
