Through Couchsurfing, I can find a place to stay, learn about local culture and have an amazing experience that I wouldn't have been able to have if I had stayed in a hotel. What I Can Share with Hosts

Many things, like:

- Ask them about their culture and be willing to answer any questions they may have about yours.
- Cook traditional meals or snacks from both cultures to share with each other.
- Show them around your city or town and introduce them to local places, people, and customs.
- If possible, arrange for them to meet other travelers or locals that come from the same region or have similar interests.
- Offer to take them sightseeing in the area and suggest activities that are unique to your city.
- Respect their customs and be willing to accommodate any special requests they may have.
- Exchange stories, music, and photos to learn more about each other’s way of life.
- Take lots of pictures and create a scrapbook or other memento that you can both share at the end of your stay.
