I'm a Outdoor, Physical and Health Education teacher from Fremantle, Western Australia. I'm travelling with my partner Kirsty for all 2018 which has been an amazing adventure so far.

I've travelled extensively and lived in Europe (Athens, London and Stockholm) on a few separate occasions which was fun, challenging and a great experience.

I love travelling! It's the best and has changed my perspective on life. It's a great way to meet new people, share life experiences and to discover new places. As a school teacher I make sure I get away at least twice a year to a new place (school holidays are pretty good!)

I really enjoy exercise, cooking and am a bit of a cleanfreak (trying to cook in some hostel kitchens has made me even more so, if that's possible).

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I want to have fun with other couch sufers and learn and share life experiences together (plus a meal and a wine or beer?). I'm travelling for a year and would love to meet locals rather than just being tourist. I've met a lot of surfers and locals on my travels who have been extremely generous and giving. I want to be more involved in the CS community when I return home.

I'm a super active person and often try to fit too much into a day which becomes a problem at times. I really enjoy travelling and exercise and make these a priority.

As an Outdoor Education teacher I love anything that is adventurous and gets the adrenalin pumping. I've hiked and camped in five continents.

Whilst I'm not busy cramming stuff in I really like going to the beach, enjoying a beer or a glass of red and cooking with some great tunes.

We drove a van (lots of hiking and camping) from Santiago down through Patagonia. If you haven't done it, it's amazing. More than happy to give heaps of tips

2010 World Cup in South Africa (plus whale shark diving, Kruger National Park and lots more)

I took a group of 15 year old school students to Peru for a month. It was amazing, rewarding and just a little bit challenging.

Sunrise over the thousands of temples in Bagan, Myanmar.

Dog sledding in the Artic Circle (Kiruna, Sweden).

Completed the Avon Descent near Perth (a two day 124km ebdurance kayaking race on flat and white water).

I know a fair bit about nutrition, exercise and running which I'm really passionate about. I've also travelled a lot so like sharing and talking about all things international (food, politics, social issues and cultural differneces).

I love to learn about the places I'm visiting and to meet locals which gives me a more holistic view of the place I'm visiting.

I'm a clean and tidy so will leave the place better than I found it. I love cooking (I'm also half Greek) so can cook you a meal with a glass of red! I've also travelled a lot of have lots of tips and travel stories and enjoy a chat. If you're ever in Perth, Western Australia you're more than welcome to stay!
